Apartment in the heart of Warsaw -
Interior architect Paulina Ada Kalińska in collaboration with Omorfia Studio
Photos by Celestyna Król

In this cozy yet stylish apartment, beauty truly converges with functionality, imaginative design meets the designer's keen sense of taste, and every detail makes a significant impact.

Here, Krakow meets Warsaw in a fusion of classic elegance and modernity.

This space is where urban dwellers with a sharp edge decide Scandinavian simplicity isn't quite their story, and gray becomes the palette's most vibrant color.

With a twist of irony, modernity blends with tradition, and brass becomes the new black.

Thanks to Paulina's extraordinary talent, the apartment transforms from gloom to a cozy oasis, making even cooking in the open kitchen a joy.

This witty interior guide demonstrates that with good design and a sprinkle of humor, even the most urban nook can become a place brimming with style and character.

Apartment No. 50, in famous "Warsaw Breweries"

Welcome to Apartment No. 50, in famous "Warsaw Breweries" where even within a mere 45 square meters, one can experience an airy openness, where classic meets contemporary, and every detail of the interior tells its own tale.

The cozy living room is embraced by golden birch trees from Cole & Son wallpapers, which might remind you of the hue of a noble hundred zÅ‚oty note, yet here they represent something far more valuable – priceless peace and harmony. The sofa by Poliform epitomizes comfort, designed for those who consider home to be a sanctuary of relaxation.

The kitchen is the heart of this apartment – every line of the custom-made furniture speaks volumes of design precision. Crafted with an extraordinary attention to detail, it's not only functional but becomes an integral part of the living space, adding to its elegance. The use of chestnut as a veneer in the furniture showcases the natural beauty of wood in a modern, matte finish – proving that classic can indeed walk hand-in-hand with modern design.

The bathroom is a haven of contemporary luxury, where beige tile shades create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Italian fixtures by Zucchetti and custom-made mirrors add a touch of sophistication, while the warm lighting ensures that every evening can transform into a relaxing ritual.

Is this still the center of Warsaw, or perhaps a corner of Manhattan?

In Apartment No. 50, boundaries blur, as global style and comfort become part of everyday life. This is a space that proves design isn't just about appearance; it's a way of living.

Apartment No. 42, in a modern Warsaw district „Warsaw Breweries”

Welcome to Apartment No. 42, in a modern Warsaw district „Browary Warszawskie”. This is a place where every inch proves that size is indeed a state of mind. This cozy abode, shy of 43 square meters, is a symphony of functionality and understated luxury, where even the geese on the wall seem poised for graceful flight rather than mundane waddling.

The living room is like a pocket-sized ballroom where every piece of furniture - from the sofa to the coffee table - has been selected like a contestant on "Project Runway". The oak herringbone floor doesn't just please the eye but also serves as a stage for your victory dances after a day well spent.

Oh, the kitchen! This is where the real magic of living unfolds. Each cabinet, each shelf, tailored like they're cut by a haute cuisine couturier, testifies that here, cooking isn't just an act; it's a ritual. And while the space is compact, its efficiency could put many a spacious culinary studio to shame.

And the bathroom? Here, terrazzo isn't just decor; it's extravagance in its purest form. Who knew you could feel like a Hollywood star during... well, the most daily of rituals. Every detail has been thought through so that even the most mundane activities are infused with a dash of theatrical flair.

In summary, Apartment No. 42 is proof that the devil is in the details, and the angel is in the comfort.

And remember, the geese on the walls aren't just decor - they're the winged guardians of the hearth.
